Can you help me with my science homework please?

Angana trees are found in parks and along roadside. They are grown by stem-cutting in order __________.

1. to be stronger and bigger than their parent plants

2. to give us shade in a very short time

3. to have fruits of the same qulity as their parent plants

4. to bear flowers without seeds

Can you help me with my science homework please?
answer is no 2 because trees that are growing by sexual reproduction are slower to grow taller than trees which grow by vegetative cultivation or stem cutting in your case. so the answer "to give us shade in a very short time" implies that the tree is groing taller quicker by stem cutting or vegetative cultivation.
Reply:The most important advantages of stem-cutting are:

- plant will be identical to the parent plant.

- plant grown from a cutting will frequently mature faster and flower sooner than a plant grown from a seed

I will go with the fourth choice
Reply:Ask Lola 2015 I think you two are in the same class.
Reply:sorry, can't help. what are angana trees ,heh?
