Forever Flowers?

I have been reading these boards for quite some time and I felt really inspired to answer. Since I my fiance proposed in December, I have become obsessed with Porcelain Roses. I saw someone posted pictures of the crystal bouquets in a previous post. But my question is...Has anyone ordered from porcelainroses.com? Is it worth the money? Are they beautiful in person? or tacky? I would LOVE to have flowers that last forever... silk does not do much for me... and I don't like the idea of having my flowers "preserved." Thanks in advance for any information/experience/fe... you can provide. And now that I took the plunge and posted for the first time.. maybe I will make it more of a habit to share my thoughts and ideas! :)

i haven't ordered from them . they look real nice though.
Reply:I would accutaually say the price is reasonable for what you are getting. you would pay at least that much to get a real bouquet an preserve it. and they are quite pretty and unique.



But, in my experience brides get sick of using wedding things to decorate their home in about 2 years and so the forever thing may not be so important. (although I am sure you can't imagine ever getting sick of being surrounded by your wedding memorabilia:)!



I have not worked with the company though so I have no info on that.
Reply:i looked at that website too and thought they were really original and pretty. but then i saw the price..phew! of course, you get to keep it forever but...if you are on a budget, it might not be worth it. money better spent on food. :)
