Know any others? Plus just wanting some ideas on what's gorgeous out there. Tired of the same ol things I see at the Nursery...maybe I can order some beauty....any good flower catalogy out there can I can asked to be sent to me.....got a site or a number?

Thanks so much for answering so many questions!

try a CEANOTHUS El Dorado ( Variegated Californian Lilac ) this is a lovely bush with glossy variegated leaves that compliment with the Blue flowers,

It likes full sun ( and this gives the best leaf colour and the most flowers ) but it will tolerate partial shade.

also try Clematis Blue Angel, to cover a fence or shed.

other border plants you could consider are : -

Agapanthus Headbourne Hybrids, Allium Caeruleum, Campanula glomerata,

Aquilegia William Guinness Doubles ( not really blue but a nice purple )

these are some of the plants that i have used in the past for my blue borderbut i suggest that you have a look at the THMPSON %26amp; MORGAN website @ www.thompson-morgan.com,

they have a seed section as wellas a pants section.

Hope this helps and you have a great time planning your garden and admiring it once you have got it going.
Reply:I have blue Columbines. I also have some purple Salvia and perinnal geraniums (which you can also get in blue.) I have also seen some beautiful bluish-purple petunias. Good luck!!!
Reply:I wanted stuff different from what I usually get so I went to the Nursery and found these:

Reply:I don't have anything blue but I've got some lavender. I've also got some lovely marigolds, they're yellow, red and orange.
Reply:petunias ,begonias,orchids,azalea,roses,Hortensia
Reply:I love lobelias but live in the South and they get too warm. Delphiniums do not last that long either. Check out some plants on eBay, I get unusual ones there. I have some nice blue Hortensias I think also called Hydrangea. Have blue Baloon flowers and they are perennials. Good luck
Reply:i like foxgloves...they are poisonus to animals, so if you have a dog-pig, you'll want to make sure they are not where they can get them...sounds beautiful..also, you may want to look at herbs...they're hearty and the flower in a varity of colors...for instance...a curry plant, strictly for growing, not eating...or chives...they have really cute little purpleish periwinkle flowers and herbs are fast growing..also, rosemary...when they are well taken care of they bloom abundantly. or you could go for a different type of planting...cactus.
Reply:I am in zone 4/5. Right now I have some siberian iris that are blue/purple blooming and they are beautiful. Butterfly bushes have some purple varieties that bloom later in the season. Lavender is beautiful also. There are blue hydrangeas depending on what zone you live in. I have one in my garden that will probably bloom in another few weeks. Daylilies come in all different colors now and are very carefree. Perennial geraniums...I have one called Rozanne and it's beautiful....electric blue/purple flowers and it's 3 yrs old and about three feet around right now. I have a blue/purple clematis growing on my arbor ... also beautiful. Salvia is another pretty plant that comes in blue/purple. Jacob's Ladder or polemonium is blooming in my garden right now and it's a pretty light blue flower. Lupines also come in blue/purple colors and have tall spikes of flowers kind of similar to delphinium in shape, but very different. Wayside gardens, Park's, both good websites to order from.
Reply:Blue bells!
