Can anyone offer some advice on the flower situation? I'm not sure exactly what I need to order. What is normally the go for weddings?
Thanks
P.S Oriental Lillies - pretty yes?
Wedding Flowers?
I love oriental lilies, stargazers.
DH is Dear Husband; you can toss your bouquet, but most often you would get a smaller bouquet to use for the bouquet toss - my florist made one free for me.
So you need a bouquet, and for your attendants (usually a smaller version of yours); boutonnieres for your husband and groomsmen - have the groom's be different than the others; boutonnieres for fathers and grandfathers; corsages for the mothers and grandmothers; any floral arrangements you want for the church and reception (we had two large arrangements for the ceremony at church, which we then moved to the reception site).
Sometimes people give bouts or corsages to ushers, those doing readings, singing, etc.
Reply:I went to the florist not knowing exactly what I needed and she had a list ready for me. I am sure almost all florists that do weddings will ask you if you want certain arrangements I had the whole list above and I am having flowers on my cake.
and about the bouquet to toss. They make a smaller version of yours so you don't have to throw away your's and the person to catch it can keep the mini one!
Good luck
